This exhibition of works by photographer Antoine Khan Sevruguin (1851-1933) and his son, painter Andre (Darvish) Sevrugian (1896-1997) is the first showing of the works by these prominent Iranian-Armenian artists in Armenia. More than 100 works by both artists were donated to Matenadaran in 2014 by Andre’s son Emmanuel Sevrugian and most of them will be permanently on view in a special gallery space dedicated to the art of these major artists.
