A photo-correspondent based in Leninakan (Gyumri) during the 1960s-70s. With his photographic reportages, Vardanyan appeared in a few republican and local periodicals such as the magazine ‘Hayastani Ashkhatavorhu’ (Armenia’s Woman Worker) and the newspaper ‘Banvor’ (Labourer) published in Gyumri. His reproduced photographs are exclusively news and reportage-related images for illustrative purposes. No biographical details about Vartanian have been found.
