K. Tumanov (Tumanyan)
1890 - 1900s
Details regarding K. Tumanov’s identity are scant. It is possible that the photographer was a relative of another Tiflis-based studio proprietor, A. A. Tumanov. His surviving photographs are few in number, and were made at the turn of the 20thcentury. Two of these photographs are outdoor group portraits representing the students and teachers from a boys gymnasium in Tiflis. It is probable that Tumanov specialized in this type of outdoor group photographs for various local educational institutions.
