Biographical details regarding this photographer have not been located. Tumanov run his studio in Tiflis, at the end of the 19th century, at the Mukhranskaya 13 address. Only portraits made by Tumanov have survived, which are accurately executed but are devoid of any memorable features. We have not happened upon any images by Tumanov made after 1900s, which indicates that the studio had closed by the early 1910s.
