Studio Avedis
1940 - 1950s
‘Avedis’ studio operated at 84 Prince Ibrahim avenue in Alexandria, Egypt between the 1940s and 1950s. The Armenian proprietor of the business specialised in individual and ceremonial portraits, also working as a photographer of public and family events. In all likelihood, the studio was not active for a long period as photographs bearing Avedis’ stamp surface quite rarely. No other information about the photographer has been found.
