A number of Koryun Oksuzyan’s experimental photographs were published by Garun (Spring) magazine in the 1980s. Turning to ‘neutral’ representations of nature, the photographer explored formal questions that were purely photographic in nature. Of particular interest in these images aspiring towards a pointedly graphical attributes, are Oksuzyan’s trials with non-traditional printing techniques. The photographer’s biographical details have not surfaced in the course of our research.
