The Rusçuk (Ruse, Bulgaria) studio operated by O. Mesrop was probably established in the 1890s and operated for about a decade. There are few known photographs bearing the seal of this photographer, and facts about his biography have not come to light. Judging from existing images, Mesrop mainly served the working and middle classes, making affordable and plain carte de visite and cabinet portraits.
