P. Mankikyan primarily specialized in photojournalism. His color and black and white photos were published in Sovetakan Hayastan (Soviet Armenia) magazine and in a number of local newspapers during the 1980s. Their comparably small number and very ordinary quality does not allow us to judge about the overall trajectory of this photographer’s career. Biographical details about Mankikyan have not been discovered.
