The biographical details of this Baku-based photographer have yet to come to light. Khachaturyants' studio was located at 21 Marinskaya street and was founded sometime between the 1890s and the early 1900s. The portraits made in this pavilion are very conventional and appear on the photographic market infrequently, which leads us to conclude that Khachaturyants’ activities as a photographer did not last for a long time.
