Rudik Vazgeni Hakobyan

Rudik Hakobyan has worked as a photojournalist for Armenpress agency for many years. His career began in 1960 at the Armenian Telegraphic Agency after which he transferred to Armenpress in 1964.(1)
Hakobyan has extensively photographed the urban, cultural and economic life of Armenia. His photographs are info-chronical, prescribed to serve as illustrations for news stories. From an archival perspective, his images of local architecture and panoramas of Yerevan, as well as the reportage series representing Armenia’s light industry, are particularly valuable.
