Serob Kyarami Gasparyan

Serob Gasparyan comes from a family of photographers. Brothers Vardges and Gaspar, and later his own sons, Ashot and Tigran were also engaged in photography.(1) For approximately ten years, between 1957-67 Gasparyan worked in the photo-pavilion of the Household Services, and in 1968, partnering with his brother Gaspar he established a separate studio in the city of Hoktemberyan. Gasparyan retired in 1995.
The photographer primarily specialized in studio portraiture. According to Vahan Kochar, Gasparyan also took part in a number of photo contests and received prizes.
