A. Djizirian
1890 - 1900s
Only one photograph bearing A. Djizirian's studio seal has been found having appeared at an online auction in the early 2000's. Judging from the portrait of a young man dressed in Armenian rural dresses and the drab backgrounds of what is possibly a makeshift studio, Djizirian worked during the early 1900s in one of the provincial towns of the Ottoman Empire - most probably in the province of Van. No other historical facts about this photographer have yet been found.
