Kourken Delacroix
1910 - 1920s
An Armenian photographer based in New York in the 1910s. Specializing mostly in portrait photography, Kourken’s studio was founded by 1915 at the latest and was located on the 150th E-23th Street in New York City.(1) The studio’s production was limited to quite conventional portraits for domestic and professional use. Delacroix's surname was undoubtedly adopted by the photographer to give his institution a most European sheen. Other biographical details on the photographer have not been discovered.
