Shahen Aslanyants
1910 - 1920s
The seals of this photographer do not provide information about the specific location of his studio, which operated during the 1910s.It is most likely that Aslanyan had a transportable darkroom and travelled to regional towns and settlements across the Caucasus. Biographical details have not been found and there are only a handful of surviving photographs – all of which are conventional carte de visite and cabinet portraits - bearing his seal.
