A number of Georgi Amatuni's photos have published on the pages of Garun and Arvest magazines. These impressionistic black-and-white photos tend to record fleeting emotional states and subtle aesthetic sensations. As can be garnered from the few works known to us, Amatuni was an independent photographer and practiced outside of the bounds of professional documentary photography. We have been unable to locate concrete biographical data about his background.
