During her first visit to Armenia, the famous British-Armenian photographer Ida Kar journeyed extensively through the country, meeting people who worked in industry, agriculture and the arts. Some of her Armenian photographs were initially published in European journals and newspapers, but were presented as a whole in this exhibition held in Yerevan.
