Sargis Virabyan

Sargis Virabyan received his higher education between 2002–06, at the TV Directing department of Yerevan’s Television and Radio Academy. He has been engaged in photography from his college years. Over the past fifteen years, Virabyan has participated in nearly 50 group exhibitions and has held four solo shows. He is a recipient of numerous awards and certificates. The photographer regularly collaborates with a number of local magazines and news agencies in addition to managing a private photographic school, which has presented over 15 exhibitions of student works to date. Since 2011 Virabyan also teaches photography at the Yerevan Television and Radio Academy. In recent years the photographer’s non-commercial practice has primarily evolved in the genre of nude photography.
